Located in the growing tech sector of El Segundo, the project was for a growing educational technology company as it expanded into a new headquarters, The space was to express it’s culture of energetic collaboration and youthful originality in the development of online learning environments. The main ideology of adaptability and flexibility meant that anchored spaces such as Conference Rooms and Kitchens were the only fixed pieces of program and open work areas could be easily changed based upon project demands. Immediately from elevator, there is direct connection from the Reception to the main social gathering space. This central space contains the kitchen and seating areas that can be re-configured for all-hands meetings, presentations, or in-house video content.
