ODAA’s work with Milken began with an intensive evaluation of the current Use and Program distribution of the High School Campus.  We worked closely with Milken to rethink how the campus is organized to more closely align with their long term vision and Mission Statement.

We had to quickly pivot when life as we knew it changed by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The teams focus turned to preparing for the students’ return to campus through activation of the school’s neglected outdoor areas to provide opportunities for safe, socially distanced learning and interaction. ODAA sought to create a varied and vibrant backdrop for Milken’s educational needs through new furniture, furnishings and landscaping.  It was paramount that these new elements act as a canvas for the students to reconfigurable gathering spaces to suit the needs.
